“Woman-founded Bigelow Tea is family owned and strives to support the local communities where we are based as well as contribute to worthy local and national causes,” says the team from Bigelow Tea.

Chameleon Cold-Brew
“We are excited to support Whole Planet Foundation and invest in the empowerment of communities around the world. At Chameleon, we’re committed to inspiring long-term economic, environmental, and social sustainability throughout our coffee supply chain,” says Matt Swenson, Chief Product Officer of Chameleon Cold-Brew.
“We’ve recently began working with some newly formed female-led coffee cooperatives in Myanmar and Indonesia to empower these women through purchase contracts and additional voluntary investments. Over the past year, we’ve funded one of the cooperatives’ organic certifications and purchased the very first 40,000lbs from each of the cooperatives. We feel passionately about Whole Planet Foundation’s mission to provide microloans to female entrepreneurs around the world and hope that, together, we can continue to inspire more opportunity for women within coffee around the world.”

Evolve
Evolve joined Whole Planet Foundation’s $10,000 Fund in 2019 and has participated in our annual virtual runs and holiday programs in order to help alleviate global poverty. Frontier Co-op
Whole Planet Foundation honored the Frontier Co-op Well Earth sourcing program as its 2019 Trailblazer. The missions of Whole Planet Foundation and Frontier Co-op align perfectly around one central idea — empowering people. In 2007, Frontier Co-op created their Well Earth sourcing program not only to ensure the sustainability of its products, but to empower its growers.
“We work directly with our Well Earth growers right at the source, often over many years, to empower them with a wide range of resources that will secure the long-term stability of their farms — and their communities,” said Cole Daily, Executive Vice President of Operations at Frontier Co-op.
Since 2014, Frontier Co-op has worked with Whole Planet Foundation, donating $565,001 to fund 9,350 microloans and create 50,302 opportunities for microentrepreneurs to flourish.

Pact invests in global communities. The company believes the people who make Pact clothes are equal to those that wear them. Pact’s Fair-Trade Factory Certification ensures that the people who craft their clothing and home goods are treated fairly and provided with additional income to invest in their communities. Additionally, through their support of Whole Planet Foundation, they invest in women entrepreneurs living in poverty by donating a portion of sales to fund microloans around the globe.
This December, Pact is committed to help alleviate global poverty through the work of Whole Planet Foundation. “On top of all Pact apparel being on sale in Whole Foods Market stores, we are also donating 10% of all sales to Whole Planet Foundation’s microlending programs,” says the Pact team.
