Flyer (2)I have always been an ice cream lover, but since I discovered Nadamoo! frozen coconut milk delights, I haven’t turned back. Sweet treats that combine my passion for coconut products with something to keep me cool on these triple-digit-hot Texas summer days is a dream come true. Read on for your chance to win a free pint and some swag!

It was about a year ago when I was introduced to Nadamoo!’s CEO Daniel Nicholson, and since then we have had the wonderful opportunity to partner together to help alleviate poverty around the globe, both through event partnership and through monetary donations. We joined forces for a pre-Grammy party in LA in January, followed by an event at a craft brewery in Austin. To fund microcredit this year, the Nadamoo! team is committing ten cents per unit of their product sold in three regions of Whole Foods Market to support Whole Planet Foundation, and to sweeten the deal, they are throwing a benefit party to support our mission right here in Austin!

On Sunday, June 22, Nadamoo! has chosen Whole Planet Foundation as the beneficiary for their Whole ‘Lotta Dessert Summer Social. NadaMoo! and partners Skull and Cakebones, GoodPop’s, Chameleon Cold Brew and NO VA have put together a cool reprieve for Austinites to enjoy during the brutal summer heat. A $10 entrance donation will merit guests an assortment of sweet treats and specialty cocktails ranging from vegan whoopie ice cream pies to pop-tails to cold brew floats. A cash bar will also be available for those who like their drinks a little less sweet. And, attendees will get the chance to mix and mingle with the Whole Planet Foundation team.

Sounds amazing, right? Purchase tickets for the Summer Social now to guarantee your spot.

We want to know – what is the most interesting flavor of ice cream you have tried? Leave your comment for a chance to win one of 10 Nadamoo insulated bags, complete with t-shirt and a free pint coupon! We’ll randomly select winners and notify by Monday, June 23.

  1. I have tried (and loved) Korean red bean paste flavored ice cream. It was definitely an aquired taste, and I barely gave it a chance at first because I was too busy eating up all the green tea ice cream in Seoul! ¯_(ツ)_/¯

But I think it’s a MUST try for all culturally competent ice cream lovers. 🙂

  2. I think lavender honey is the most interesting ice cream flavor I have tried. Wish I could come to the event, but I’m in Atlanta. Have fun- I LOVE Whole Foods!
