Altech Group Altech Group’s mission is to expand access to clean, reliable, renewable, and affordable energy for off- and poor-grid households. Altech is ambitious for the future of DRC. They want to see an end to energy poverty in the DRC by 2030. Altech Group’s co-founders Washikala Malango and Iongwa Mashangao grew up together in a refugee camp in Tanzania. Driven by their vision to create impact at home they founded the Altech Group in 2013 to address DRC’s energy deficit.
