Microfinance Solutions. S.A. (Microserfin), a member of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation, has a mission to improve the lives of low-income entrepreneurs and their families. For two decades, Microserfin has built a significant trajectory in the microfinance environment, becoming the first Panamanian entity leading the financial inclusion of small entrepreneurs through finance with a relational bank. They achieve this by generating social and economic opportunities via microfinance while maintaining self-sustainability. Microserfin covers the entire country, particularly in rural areas where it serves entrepreneurs in their agricultural businesses, whom it guides from the outset and over time, with personalized advice from its specialist officer. Microserfin has a network of over 10 branch offices with around 280 employees supporting 17,400 clients.
