How do I change my team photo?

In order to change your team photo, you must be the team captain. If you are the team captain, you can change your team’s photo, story, and more. Just log in to your Classy account using the credentials you set up when you registered for the event, then click “Manage” on your team page.

How can I invite my friends and family to join?

 It’s easy to share the event with friends and family through email or social media right from your fundraising page on Classy. You can invite your networks to donate by logging in to your personal fundraising page at https://www.classy.org/profile, then clicking the social media or email icons on the top right side of the page.

As a team captain, you can also recruit new team members and share your team’s fundraising goal with your friends and family by clicking “Manage” on the top right-hand side of your team’s page. From there, navigate to the “Emails” tab to encourage others to join.

You can also email them the registration link: bit.ly/pyp5k2020 where they can register online and join your team.

How can my friends and family find my team when they register?

When your friends and family register through a link you send them from your Classy account, they will easily be able to join your team. Log in to your account by visiting https://www.classy.org/profile.

There is also an option to join a team during registration by clicking “Join a team” then typing in the team name you are trying to join. 

Do I have to fundraise?

No, you do not have to fundraise, as your entry fee and participation is a generous donation to Whole Planet Foundation. We do however, want to provide the opportunity for any participants to raise additional dollars for the mission.

Trying to join a team after registering as an individual?

Log in to your Classy account by visiting https://www.classy.org/profile and go to your Power Your Purpose 5K fundraising page. At the top of the page, click on “Manage”, then scroll to the bottom where you’ll see an option for Team Fundraising. You can then search for your team name and request to join.

How do I manage my team details?

Why is the fundraising goal for the team page set for $176?

The first average microloan that Whole Planet Foundation funds through microfinance partners is $176. A microloan will help an entrepreneur living in poverty, usually a woman, start or expand her own small business to support herself and her family. We invite everyone to help fund a microloan!

Do I have to create a Classy account?

In order to manage your fundraising, your team, or join a team, you will need to register for Classy if you have not previously done so. If you are not fundraising, or creating or joining a team, then you will not have to create a Classy account.

Can I be on more than one team?

No, unfortunately at this time our system does not allow you to be on more than one team at a time with one email address. You may purchase additional registrations with different email addresses if you would like to join more than one team.

My company would like to sponsor the event. How can we get involved?
