Join community nonprofit Latinitas for a workshop for girls ages 8-18! Participants will create vision boards using a graphic design platform to depict visual representations of important areas of their lives they wish to grow and succeed in including family life, health, their social circles, education and career, and other topics.
Latinitas empowers all girls to innovate using media and technology. The organization has made this vision a reality by serving more than 25,000 girls and teens in Austin and El Paso, Texas. Latinitas hosts 4 signature daylong “Chica Conferences” per year in Austin and El Paso open to all girls ages 9-18 on topics such as gaming, entrepreneurship, virtual reality, UX design, coding, STEAM, and more. Latinitas Austin and El Paso also each offer 7 weeks of camp during the summer for girls ages 9-14, with financial assistance available for families who are unable to pay the full tuition.
